Given that all SDFix does is update an XML file thats not availble to the standard user, I assume after the fix has been applied I can unroot if I need to ? Scrap the questions above, I've read about SDFix and the assosicated reasons so as soon as I get home I'll root and install. I think I might do you suggest and root but I'm not sure if iPlayer will still work as they say they won't work on rooted devices.

File Commander does work but Sony Video Unlimited ( which I had to download a newer version that the play store was offering to show up my purchases from my Z2 ) doesn't have access. If you want to use it just like before, root your device and install and run an app called SdFix. KitKat itself blocks access to the SD storage to every system app. My device is unrooted, bootloader locked. I actually want to download the free movies I got from the Sony unlimited store when I bought my z2 but everytime I try to download them I get the error unable to write them to the sd card so going to use the local storage.

OK I know the 321 doesn't support 64gb cards so I got a samsung 32gb card, formated that in the tablet but still the same results. So I swopped it for my Sony 64gb card with the same results. I originally assumed it was my Samsung 64gb card but as it could be mounted and formatted and copied to by file commander, Google music I wasn't sure. I have a 16gb WiFi/lte Tablet (sp321) and I don't seem to be able to copy things to my sd card via es explorer, the built in sony unlimited video app, my seagate media app.I can do file copies and create new folders using file commander. SD card problems.am I the only one? Please help as this is driving me up the wall.
